Heard it was under new management so got a little excited……… so been an hour waiting for a pizza.

Well an update, the lovely lady (good looker too) finally realised something was wrong…..amen.
Pizza was awesome but the icing on the cake was the ride home via courtesy bus, old mate was excellent.
Definitely will eat again, worth a second try.
Went last night for New Year’s Eve, there were 5 adults and 1 15 yr old, we had dinner in the restaurant, we ended up double booked for some reason, our meals were mucked up
After dinner we went into beer garden for the entertainment and to see in the new year, security came around just after ten to tell us we had to leave as under age people had to be off the premises @ 10pm, there is no signage in the pub that states this and there was a15yr old girl and a 17 yr old male serving food and drinks there, so please explain why we had to leave when my 15 yr old grandchild was sitting there perfectly quiet and happy and staff although very nice were able to serve alcohol whilst under age ????
Pleasantly surprised with this place! It's a nice looking place both inside and out. The staff were friendly. The meals were nice. I had the chicken cashew stir-fry, my only complaint would be it had a little bit too much sauce (like swimming in it haha) and was a bit salty but was otherwise delicious. My husbands steak was nice and our kids shared a pizza (carnivore or something I think) which was yummy! Meals were more than enough for us size wise. We didn't stay at the pub accommodation so can't comment on that.
Only went to the restaurant in courtyard. Very large and roomy, relaxed atmosphere. The food was very good, their chicken schnitzel one of the best I've tasted. Generous portions.
4 star for service because like all these places, there is minimum service and one has to get up and order, etc.
Was there a few weeks ago and had to chase my lunch order up after seeing other people’s food come out that ordered after me and realising I had waited an hour already. When the food finally come out they had forgotten my Diane gravy I had ordered as well so had to chase that up. Thought I’d give them another chance to redeem themselves before putting up a review however they disappointed once again on the weekend. The new bar staff must be new to the industry as they were not paying attention to what customers were at the bar or even acknowledged me standing there and ask if I’d been served. If it wasn’t for a customer saying I was there first I seriously don’t think I would have gotten another drink. I will not be returning and it’s quiet sad considering a bunch of us locals would catch up there at least once a week if not more.
Waited over 1 hour for our food for it to come and the veggies to be half cooked and half cold, others at the table asked for well cooked steak to receive medium rare, the service was also terrible. Since the new owners have taken over it’s gone down hill. Not to mention the kids area in the bistro is gone and replaced with a smoking are which was so disappointing, so many unhappy customers in their constantly asking how long their food would be as the wait time was horrendous as well.
They have no respect for staff or patrons. Only interested in making money off the pokies. Very hard to get any service as all original bar staff have either left or been let go so that they can introduce new younger ones that have no idea what they are doing. Myself and others will not be back while current owners are there.
Didn't stay at the hotel but we've now had 2 dinners here and it's been amazing! The service here are so kind and efficient. I've had the parmi and my partner has had the pizzas and both are delicious. Thank you for the wonderful dinners. Also very reasonably priced!
